The WVU basketball program announced on Tuesday that starting guard Kerr Kriisa was suspended for nine games for unauthorized benefits while enrolled at Arizona. With the unknown of Akok Akok’s health, RaeQuan Battle’s waiver appeal and now Kriisa’s suspension, what are your expectations for this year’s basketball season?

West Virginia’s projected rotation against Missouri State:

1 – Kobe Johnson, Jeremiah Bembry

2 – Seth Wilson

3 – Josiah Harris, Ofri Naveh

4 – Quinn Slazinski, Patrick Suemnick

5 – Jesse Edwards, Ali Ragab

Kriisa will be allowed to return on Dec. 16 against UMass in Springfield. Akok’s status for next Monday, or even his future in basketball, is unknown. The latest on Battle is WV AG Patrick Morrisey completed a letter to NCAA President Charlie Baker asking to reconsider the decision. Morrisey also asked for an answer from the NCAA by next Monday, Nov. 6.
