RaeQuan Battle Completes Workout with Orlando Magic

Former Mountaineer guard RaeQuan Battle continues to receive opportunities with NBA teams during the pre-draft workout process. On Sunday, Battle completed a workout with the Orlando Magic, per Rookie Wire.
Last weekend, Battle showcased his talents with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Battle completed the workout with Harrison Ingram (North Carolina), Malevy Leons (Bradley), Jamal Shead (Houston), KJ Simpson (Colorado) and Nae’Qwan Tomlin (Memphis).

The 6-foot-5 guard is set to begin a professional career. Along with teammate Jesse Edwards, Battle was invited to the PIT in mid-April, where he led the tournament in scoring at 22.0 points per game.
Battle completed his fifth season of collegiate eligibility with West Virginia this past season. Battle, who played at Washington and Montana State, transferred to WVU during the final months of Bob Huggins and stayed into the interim year with Josh Eilert. Battle averaged 16.1 points and 4.0 rebounds on 41% shooting from the field in 22 games.ย Battle fought for eligibilityย during non-conference play after needing a waiver to compete for the Mountaineers. The Tulalip, Wa. native became eligible in mid-December and scored 29 points in each of his first two games. Battle scored over 20 points in nine games.ย Battle wonย back-to-back Big 12 Player of the Week awards as soon as he returned to the floor.
