According to a source, former Ohio State quarterback Tate Martell is on an official visit in Morgantown.

Martell was expected to be the Buckeyes starter next year prior to Georgia quarterback Justin Fields transferring in.

This season in mop-up duty he completed 23 of 28 passes for 269 yards and 1 touchdown, while also rushing 22 times for 128 yards and 2 scores.

Martell was rated as the 2nd best dual-threat quarterback in the 2017 recruiting class. It is not clear whether Martell will be granted eligibility immediately, but if so, he will have three years remaining.
