Standout Virginia RB Ike Daniels Adds WVU to Growing List of Offers

Class of 2023 running back Ike Daniels shined during his freshman season of high school football, and now on the cusp of his sophomore season the standout from Virginia’s Mountain View High is receiving attention from several Power 5 college programs, including West Virginia University.

Daniels announced Tuesday that he has received a scholarship offer from the Mountaineers, adding WVU to the mix along with offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Arizona State, Penn State and Pitt.

Listed by 247Sports at 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, Daniels found ways to be productive running and catching the ball last season. As a freshman at Mountain View, Daniels accounted for 704 rushing yards with 12 rushing touchdowns while also catching 22 passes for 193 yards with four receiving touchdowns.
