Transfer WR John Neider Signs Deal as Mountaineer
Joining the long list of transfer players who have signed with the WVU football program in recent days, wide receiver John Neider inked his deal on Thursday.
UConn transfer wide out John Neider revealed his commitment to West Virginia on Jan. 9.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Neider is coming off a productive season, catching 27 passes for 422 yards and scoring a pair of touchdowns.
Neider started five games in 2025, his third year with UConn. After a redshirt first year, Neider appeared mostly on special teams in 2024.
Neider took an official visit to WVU soon after officially entering the transfer portal.
