MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia beat the Albany Great Danes 49 to 14 on Saturday night. However, based on the opponent, the performance didn’t do much to alleviate any concern of WVU fans.

Next up for the Mountaineers is another edition of their historic rivalry with Pitt. West Virginia will travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers in the 2024 Backyard Brawl. Kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 14 is set for 3:30 pm ET.
