WVU Football Sends 2027 4-Star Louisiana DL Latest P4 Offer

With the current team on spring break, the WVU football staff has been able to spend a week turning their full attention to recruiting future Mountaineers. And on Monday, West Virginia sent an offer to a popular 2027 prospect at key position.

Joining numerous other Power Four schools, WVU extended an offer to Louisiana product Jaden Bayonne. The four-star announced the offer on social media. West Virginia became Bayonne’s first new Power Four offer of March after receiving interest from Baylor, Oklahoma State and Syracuse in February.

Bayonne, listed at 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds, attends Alexandria High School and is ranked as the No. 13 player in Louisiana by 247 Sports.

Arkansas, Florida, Houston, Liberty, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, SMU, TCU, Texas State, Tulane, UNLV, UTSA, Vanderbilt and several others have also offered Bayonne.
