Recent WVU Football 2027 WR Commit Locks in Official Visit

Just a couple days after committing, a 2027 wide receiver booked his official visit to spend a full weekend at the WVU football program.

Georgia native Roscoe Hayes announced his decision to commit on social media on March 13, picking West Virginia over offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Kansas State, North Carolina State, Pitt, Wisconsin and several others.

He then revealed that he will take an official visit throughout the weekend of June 5-7.

“Take Me Home. Trip to visit Morgantown was fantastic. Thankful and blessed to be continuing my academic and football career with WVU football,” posted Hayes when he committed.

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 181 pounds, Hayes is a product of Westlake High School in Atlanta. His commitment comes a week after he returned from taking a trip to West Virginia. He also plays basketball in high school.

WVU wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett recruited Hayes directly. Hayes now becomes the Mountaineers’ second commit for their 2027 class.
