WVU WBB Star Jordan Harrison Named Finalist for All-America Team
Senior guard Jordan Harrison of the WVU women’s basketball team has been named to the WBCA Coaches’ All-America Finalist, per a release from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
The list includes 48 athletes from across the country. The final list will be trimmed down 10 athletes in early April.
In 32 contests this season, Harrison has scored in double figures eight times and is averaging a team-leading 5.2 assists and 3.3 steals. She also scores double points with 13.2 points per game. Her 104 steals this season ranks third on the program’s all-time list and sit just 10 away from tying the program record. The total led the Big 12 this season and sits ninth in the nation.
Harrison was named the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year while picking up All-Big 12 First Team and Defensive Team honors. She is also on the late-season watch list for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year.
