Watch: Deuce McBride Appears on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Miles “Deuce” McBride made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night as he was interviewed on the street by guest host Desus Nice.

Nice’s substituion for Kimmel included a Los Angeles vs. New York segment where he interviews the people on Hollywood Blvd. about New Yorkers. McBride was one of the people interviewed as Nice handed him a veggie dog, a Los Angeles staple. A veggie dog is a meatless hot dog, which the former Mountaineer guard didn’t enjoy. McBride jokingly threw the food into the street.

McBride is preparing to begin his second season in the NBA for the New York Knicks. The Cincinnati native finished a successful Summer League stint, leading the Knicks to the finals. According to Basketball ReferenceMcBride will earn $1.5 million during the 2022-23 season.

McBride played at West Virginia from 2019-21, appearing in 60 games for the Mountaineers. McBride averaged 12.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists. In his sophomore season, McBride was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, as he led WVU to a No. 3 seed in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
