Former Mountaineer Kyzir White locked up the NFL’s biggest upset on Sunday.

Just as it looked like maybe the Cowboys still had some life and were driving to score in Arizona territory, White picked off quarterback Dak Prescott and sealed the win for the Cardinals. In a surprise to many, Arizona beat Dallas 28-16.

The video below shows White celebrating after coming away with the interception.

He even talked trash to Prescott throughout the game.

White is in his first season with the Cardinals after signing with Arizona in the off-season. He appeared in the Super Bowl as a member of the Eagles last year.

During his lone season in Philadelphia, White totaled 110 combined tackles, 1.5 sacks and seven passes defensed. The 2022 season marked the second consecutive year he surpassed 100 combined tackles. White’s individual success carried over to the playoffs as he led his team in tackles in the Eagles NFC Championship Game win over San Fransisco.

Prior to being drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, where he spent his first four NFL seasons, White was a JUCO recruit from Lackawanna College. He then transferred to West Virginia, playing for the Mountaineers from 2016-2017. While at West Virginia, he played safety and forced four fumbles, recorded four sacks, 14.5 tackles for loss, 152 tackles and three interceptions in 25 games.
