Oops, Geno Smith did it again. That’s right, the WVU legend led the Seahawks yet another win thanks to late-game heroics in the final minutes on Sunday.

Seattle beat the Carolina Panthers 37-27, but won the fourth quarter by just one point, 15-14. Smith threw a touchdown pass to Jake Bobo with just over four minutes left in the game to seal the win.

Overall in the game, Smith completed 23 out of 36 passes for 296 yards. He did throw an interception to go along with the touchdown pass. Smith also tried to keep the ball and run four times, but that resulted in -four yards.

After suffering a loss in their season opener, the Seahawks have won two straight, both games Smith led comeback efforts to secure the victory. Seattle now holds a 2-1 record on the season with a Monday Night Football matchup with the New York Giants on tap.

In a related story, Smith won the NFL’s Air Player of the Week award.
