West Virginia ranked inside top 20 in initial AP Poll
It is officially Week 0 in the College Football season, which means it’s time for the annual release of the initial AP Top 25 poll. The Mountaineers started preparing for Tennessee today, as they enter a mock game week. The program has been receiving buzz all offseason, as it brings back one of the most dynamic offenses in the country.
When the polls were released, West Virginia checked in at No. 17. The 17th ranked Mountaineers open their season next Saturday, Sept. 1, in Charlotte, NC. Their opponent, the Tennessee Volunteers, is not ranked in the poll.
