Two West Virginia men’s basketball games originally scheduled for January have been rescheduled to February, the Big 12 conference announced Monday morning. WVU’s game against Baylor that was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Mountaineer program has been rescheduled.

The Mountaineers were originally scheduled to play the No. 2 Baylor Bears in Waco, Texas on Jan. 12. That game is now scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. WVU had a game at TCU scheduled for Feb. 22 that has also been rescheduled for Feb. 23. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN2.

The Mountaineers still have two postponed games outstanding, a game at TCU originally scheduled for Jan. 16 and a game against Oklahoma State originally scheduled for Jan. 19. WVU’s next scheduled game is on the road against the Kansas State Wildcats on Jan. 23, if the Mountaineers can pass COVID protocols by then.
