But before getting into the conference slate, WVU’s nonconference schedule will feature nine regular season games plus an exhibition contest on Oct. 26.

West Virginia will officially start the regular season and the Ross Hodge era at home on Nov. 4 against Mount St. Mary’s. The Mountaineers hold a 6-0 all-time lead against Mount St. Mary’s with every meeting taking place at the WVU Coliseum.

For some other notable games, the Mountaineers will host Pitt for the Backyard Brawl on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 6 pm on FS1. The two teams will meet for the 192nd time with WVU leading the all-time series, 101-90.

WVU and Clemson will meet in first game at 6:30 pm on Nov. 21, followed by a meeting with either Georgia or Xavier in the final game of the tournament at 1 or 3:30 pm on Nov. 23.

On Saturday, Dec. 6, the Mountaineers will play in Charleston, West V.Va., for the first time since 2016. WVU and Wake Forest will begin a two-game neutral site series this season on Dec. 6 at 6 pm on ESPN2. The two teams will meet for the 11th time in school history, with WVU leading 7-3. The two teams last met in the second round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament with WVU winning in double overtime, 111-105.

Haha, look at all these tweets about schedules! Its like the Mountaineers are trying to schedule their *own* Big 12 Championship right here in West Virginia. WVU Basketball to Host 2026 Top-25 Recruit Miles Sadler – Bet hes excited about the Coliseum! Gotta love the detailed TV guides though, When, Where to Watch is crucial for busy Mountaineers. And speaking of busy, wonder if adding 140 scholarships includes a plan for the Softball team? Just kidding, probably just means more Mountain Outlaw Mountain. #WVU #Big12 #SchedulePartyact two ai video
