Kansas star running back Pooka Williams Jr. has opted out of the rest of the 2020 season. Williams, a two-time All-Big 12 player, ran for 21 yards on 11 carries against West Virginia on Saturday. He also returned a kickoff for a touchdown late in the game.

Good morning! Lots coming up on the site today — WVU’s Neal Brown will be on the weekly Big 12 coaches teleconference just before noon, the WVSN High School Football Player of the Week for Week 7 will be announced this afternoon and we will be live this evening at a clash between unbeaten Class AAA teams from the Kanawha Valley when 2-0 St. Albans visits 2-0 South Charleston.
