This is news that the coaches at West Virginia didn’t want to hear.

On Saturday, WVU 2022 4-star running back commit Justin Williams (Dallas, Georgia) made an unofficial visit to Tennessee for their game against Alabama. Williams picked up an offer from the Vols on October 29.

Following his visit to Knoxville, Williams spoke with Austin Price from Volquest.com and had nothing but good things to say about Tennessee.

“The love I felt here was unreal and I had a great time,” Williams told Volquest.com. “The love I saw today was unreal. I’m really impressed so I definitely see myself coming back. He (Josh Heupel) told me they need a bigger back and they want one that can come in in December. He told me he feels like I can be that guy.

“The biggest takeaway is the love that I felt. That and just how close Tennessee is to being a really good team. They are just a few pieces away. They are going to skyrocket in the next year or two.”

The other team to keep your eye on is Michigan, who also offered him at the end of October. Their seems to be a chance to Williams also makes an visit to see Jim Harbaugh’s program.

Williams hasn’t officially decommitted from West Virginia but things obviously look very shaky. Williams originally committed to Chad Scott and the Mountaineers back on July 5.
