WVU Basketball Beats Out Creighton for 2026 Big Amadou Seini
Continuing their recruiting hot steak, the WVU basketball program landed a commitment from a big on Friday afternoon.
Class of 2026 center Amadou Seini picked West Virginia over Creighton after visiting both schools. Seini furthered the pipeline from Arizona’s Bella Vista Preps, enrolling this past fall and playing along side Miles Sadler and Aliou Dioum as they captured a championship at the Chipotle Nationals.
He holds the all-time FIBA U19 World Cup rebounding record at 15.4 rebounds per game. Despite being surprising unranked, Seini is viewed as a physical force and a quality addition for Ross Hodge and his staff.
