WVU Basketball Offers 7-Foot-1 High School Recruit
WVU basketball staff extended an offer to 2025 three-star big man Isaiah Medina on Monday. Medina, a 7-foot-1 prospect, is a rising senior at Gibbs High School in Florida.

Medina has had his recruitment pick up steam this week as Denver, Illinois-Chicago, Saint Louis, West Virginia and Xavier have offered scholarships in the last few days. Medina also holds other offers from Appalachian State, Cal State Fullerton, DePaul, Edward Waters, Florida International, George Mason, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville, James Madison, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Presbyterian, Tulsa, UMass, USC Upstate and more.
During his junior year, Medina averaged 9.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks through 32 games.
Most recently, WVU’s staff offered 2025 three-star forward Ian Inman over the weekend. Inman, 6-foot-5, currently plays at The Woodlands College Park High School in Texas.
Inman has picked up offers from Colorado, Colorado State, George Mason, Northeastern, Rice, Saint Louis, San Jose State, Tulsa, UC Santa Barbara, UMass, West Virginia, Wichita State and others.
Inman has taken visits to Rice, Texas Tech and Wichita State so far in his recruitment.
During his sophomore season (2022-23), Inman averaged 8.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
