A History of WVU Mountaineers in the NFL Draft

It will probably be a down year for the Mountaineers in this year’s NFL Draft. Of the WVU alum available in this year’s draft, offensive lineman Colton McKivitz and ex-XFL and Mountaineer safety Kenny Robinson were the only players ranked in Gil Brandt’s top 150 draft prospects.

At the end of the day, they will probably be the only two selected to represent the Mountain State at the next level of football.

So where does that leave WVU alum in the NFL? There are 17 current Mountaineers on an NFL roster with a few more bouncing around practice squads.
