WVU Football Picks Up 2026 DL Cam Mallory After Official Visit

They say first impressions matter most, and that must’ve been the case for new WVU Football commit Cam Mallory, who settled on the Mountaineers after an official visit this past weekend per a post from his Twitter (X) account.

Mallory stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 295 pounds, a 3-Star who racked up 12 sacks and more than 20 tackles for loss as a high school junior last season. A 2026 recruit out of Alabama’s Moody High School, Mallory already possesses the type of size and physicality expected of a Division I defensive lineman with another season yet to develop in high school.

The Mountaineers initially offered Mallory in February 2025. He marks their third 2026 commitment of the day.
