WVU Football Completes Flip of 2026 Edge Noah Tishendorf

The WVU football staff officially completed a flip of a 2026 edge rusher on Monday when Noah Tishendorf announced his commitment.
Tishendorf’s commitment comes on the heels of his official visit. He also alluded to his likely flip during a recent conversation with WV Sports Now.
Tishendorf, who carries a three-star rating from at least one major recruiting service, committed to the Beavers on March 10 over notable offers from Fresno State, UNLV and Washington State. He also had offers on the table from Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Sacramento State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Utah State and Wyoming among others.
West Virginia extended him an offer a day following his commitment to Oregon State.
With most of Tishendorfโs interest coming from schools out west, it would say a lot about what West Virginia thinks of him and their sales pitch if he would end up as a Mountaineer, granted the opportunity to play in a Power Four conference like the Big 12 may be an obvious factor as well.
Tishendorf also told WV Sports Now that he feels the WVU coaches love him and heโs looking forward to his upcoming trip to Morgantown. For a sign pointing to his likely turn to West Virginia, Tishendorf already feels WVU has everything he’s looking for in a college program.
“I like the conference, the coaches are amazing, facilities are great and great tradition and winning history.”
Tishendorf is considered a top 10 prospect in his class out of Oregon by 247 Sports.
