WVU Football Signs 2025 3-Star Armoni Weaver as WR

West Virginia added Armoni Weaver to their 2025 class on Wednesday when he signed on with the WVU football program, following cornerbacks coach Rod West to Morgantown.
Just like one of his teammates at Westside Academy in Anderson, S.C., Weaver, a 5-foot-10 and 180-pound three-star athlete, initially committed to Appalachian State before flipping his commitment to WVU and West after visiting West Virginia.

Weaver re-opened his recruitment on Dec. 3 and received a WVU offer on Jan. 5.
While he played both offense and defense in high school, West Virginia is planning to make Weaver a slot receiver. He made 26 receptions for 541 yards and scored seven touchdowns in 2024.
