Cross’ athleticism is what makes him an attractive player to West Virginia. He also plays on his school’s basketball team and is listed as a safety by some outlets while simply an athlete by others. Cross is ranked among the Pennsylvania top recruits in his class, even receiving number 6 placement from 247 Sports.
A relatively local recruit for WVU, Cross has offers from all over the country. He recently visited Syracuse on June 1 and has a trip to Michigan State scheduled for June 23. Cross’ last appearance in Morgantown came on March 26.
