The West Virginia University men’s basketball team saw last week’s loss at Oklahoma send the Mountaineers tumbling several spots in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

WVU (8-3, 1-2 Big 12) checks in at No. 14 this week, down from No. 9 last week, following Saturday’s loss to the Sooners but can attempt to bounce back Monday night at Oklahoma State.

Gonzaga and Baylor remained at No. 1 and No. 2 this week, followed by Villanova, Texas at No. 4 and Iowa at No. 5. Kansas, which lost to Texas over the weekend, dropped to No. 6 in this week’s poll.
