West Virginia has not been shy about its desire to be a recruiting force not just in its own state, but in the surrounding states as well. That process took another small step forward Wednesday.

Emir Stinette, an offensive lineman from Philadelphia’s Imhotep Charter in the Class of 2022, announced on Twitter he had received an offer from the Mountaineers. Stinette joins Neumann Goretti defensive back Raleigh Collins as Class of 2022 prospects from Philadelphia schools with offers from WVU.

Stinette is listed as a 6-foot-5, 330-pound offensive guard with a three-star rating by 247Sports. Power 5 schools have been showing interesting in Stinette in recent months, with scholarship offers coming in from Arizona State, Rutgers, Pitt and Tennessee in addition to West Virginia. Stinette also currently has offers from Cincinnati and Toledo.
