WVU Product Geno Smith Adequate in Start for Seahawks
Former West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith’s journey to become an NFL starting quarterback now a decade into his pro career continues on after his start in the Seahawks preseason debut Saturday night.
Smith went 10 for 15 in the first half of Seattle’s game against the Steelers, tossing 101 yards. Even though he did not throw a touchdown pass, he did run it in for a score.
