WVU’s Neal Brown to Mountaineer Fans: ‘We’re Not Done Yet’
All indications seem to point to West Virginia University accepting a bowl bid this season if offered, and on Friday Mountaineer coach Neal Brown released a video statement to Mountaineer fans through the WVU Football Twitter account that certainly is in line with that.
Brown’s video indicated that despite Saturday’s game against Oklahoma — the regular season finale and final home game for West Virginia’s seniors — being canceled, this team’s season is not over. Watch the full video below:

West Virginia finished the 2020 regular season with a 5-4 overall record and went 4-4 in Big 12 play. The Mountaineers missed a bowl in 2019, Brown’s first season as head coach, and have not been to a postseason bowl game since a 2018 loss to Syracuse in the Camping World Bowl.
