2024 4-Star CG Casmir Chavis Includes WVU in Top 4

2024 four-star combo guard Casmir Chavis included West Virginia in his top four schools on Friday night. Chavis is also considering Arizona State, Georgia and Washington.
Chavis is from Minneapolis, MN. and currently plays at Park Central. Chavis is the 108th prospect in his class, according toΒ 247 Sports.

West Virginia offered Chavis back in June of 2022 under Bob Huggins’ staff. WVU assistants have been in touch with Chavis over the last calendar year.Β As a sophomore, Chavis appeared in 10 games averaging 7.8 points for the Pirates. Chavis is now entering his senior year.
West Virginia is also in the running for 2024 four-star G Del Jones. Jones has WVU in his top eight. Jonesβ final eight consists of Arizona State, Clemson, Ole Miss, Oregon, Providence, Tennessee, Texas A&M and West Virginia.Β Jones (6-foot-3, 170 pounds), a top-70 player in his class, currently plays at Huntington Prep. Jones is originally from Arlington, Va., an area WVU is trying to target with new assistant DerMarr Johnson.
