A 2025 prospect, Stinyard (6-foot-1, 180 pounds) hails from Tampa Bay, Fla. and attends Gaither High School. He holds three stars from several major recruiting outlets, most notably ESPN, On3 Sports and 247 Sports. Each outlet rates Stinyard as one of their top 100 Florida players.
Stinyard is a multi-sport athlete, also excelling at a track and field in high school.
While Stinyard was in constant communication with Big 12 foes Kansas and Kansas State and Minnesota out of the Big Ten, On3 Sports always had the Mountaineers among his top schools. North Carolina State and USF were also listed up there with WVU.
