A 2026 prospect, Taylor (6-2, 210 pounds) is a linebacker from nearby Aliquippa in Pittsburgh. 247Sport, Rivals and On3 all rate Taylor as a three-star recruit.
Taylor committed to WVU in April.
Taylor started his high school career at Bishop Canevin before transferring to Aliquippa.
Taylor is a big, well-built linebacker coming off his freshman season at Bishop Canevin, and he made an impact across the offensive and defensive side of the football.
He recorded 76 tackles (62 solo), 23 tackles for loss, a team-high 17 sacks, forced two fumbles, recovered four and broke up two passes to help lead the Crusaders to a 12-2 season.
His strong freshman season earned him MaxPrep’s Freshman All-American honors.
Taylor also holds offers from Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse and Miami (Oh.).
