Daxter Miles Jr Joins the 1,000 Point Club
Daxter Miles Jr. surpassed 1,000 points for his career Wednesday night against Coppin State. The senior guard for the Mountaineers is just happy to get the win, “God is good, I’m just glad we got the win” Said Miles, “I’m proud of the accomplishment”.
Coming into the game, Miles only needed 7 points to hit the 1,000-point mark, and he surpassed the total on a three-pointer in the second half with 12:36 to go in the game, becoming the 52nd member in the 1,000-point club.
Dax now has 1,004 points on 43% (360-838) shooting from the field, 31.7% (131-413) from behind the arc and 60% (153-255) from the free throw line, for his career.
