Grier Wins Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year

Thursday afternoon the Big 12 Conference released their Big 12 Football Awards for the year via social media. To no surprise picking up the Offensive Newcomer of the Year award was WVU QB Will Grier. Throughout the season Grier won the weekly award a total of 5 times.

Other Big 12 Awards include:

Ben Banogu – Defensive Newcomer of the Year

Micheal Dickson – Special Teams Player of the Year

Poona Ford – Defensive Lineman of the Year

Orlando Brown –  Offensive Lineman of the Year

Jalen Reagor – Co-Offensive Freshman of the Year

Charlie Brewer – Co-Offensive Freshman of the Year

Ross Blacklock – Co-Defensive Freshman of the Year

Kenneth Murray – Co-Defensive Freshman of the Year

Matt Campbell – Chuck Neinas Coach of the Year Award
