In the Holler: 2027 WR Roscoe Hayes Explains Why WVU Football is ‘Great Fit’
Coming off committing and then scheduling in an official visit, 2027 wide receiver prospect Roscoe Hayes explained why the WVU football program already feels like home.
The Georgia native announced his decision to commit on social media on March 13, picking West Virginia over offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Kansas State, North Carolina State, Pitt, Wisconsin and several others.
He then revealed that he will take an official visit throughout the weekend of June 5-7. Hayes tells WVSN that he’s been in regular contact with WVU wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett since committing.
In a message to WV Sports Now, Hayes said he likes everything about WVU so far and can already envision what it will be like to be a Mountaineer.
