Kekoura Tarnue Becomes Latest WVU Player to Earn NFL Camp Invite
WVU football product Kekoura Tarnue becomes the latest Mountaineer to earn an opportunity to impress an NFL team.
Tarnue, a defensive back who transferred to West Virginia ahead of the 2024 season, received an invitation to attend the Denver Broncos’ rookie mini-camp.
In his final season as a Mountaineer in 2025, Tarnue recorded 40 total tackles with 25 as solo stops, four tackles for a loss and a forced fumble.
Prior to his time in West Virginia, Tarnue played for current WVU head coach Rich Rodriguez at Jacksonville State in 2023. He posted 48 total tackles, picked off three passes and has four pass breakups.
