Mountaineers in the NFL: Week 9 Review

Seven former West Virginia University football players saw action during Week 9 of the NFL season, including Carolina Panthers safety Kenny Robinson — who made his first career tackle in a 33-31 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs

 

Buffalo Bills (Bills 44, Seahawks 33)
Daryl Worley – CB – 5th season – Released by the Cowboys and placed on the Bills practice squad.

Carolina Panthers (Chiefs 33, Panthers 31)
Rasul Douglas – CB – 4th season – Started at cornerback and recorded five solo tackles. Saw action on all 62 defensive plays and seven special teams snaps.

Will Grier – QB – 2nd season – Active, but did not play

Kenny Robinson – S – 1st season – Recorded his first NFL tackle. Also saw action on 16 special teams snaps.

Cincinnati Bengals (Off Week)
Quinton Spain – OG – 6th season – Off Week

Cleveland Browns (Off Week)
Karl Joseph – S – 5th season – Off Week

Indianapolis Colts (Ravens 24, Colts 10)
Mark Glowinski – OG – 6th season – Started at right guard. Saw action on all 68 offensive plays, while also recording playing time on two special teams snaps.

Las Vegas Raiders (Raiders 31, Chargers 26)
Nick Kwiatkoski – LB – 5th season – Started at middle linebacker and recorded 13 tackles with 10 being solo stops. Saw action on 62 defensive plays and 12 special teams snaps.

Los Angeles Chargers (Raiders 31, Chargers 26)
Kyzir White – LB – 3rd season – Started at linebacker and recorded five tackles with three solo tackles. Saw action on 44 defensive plays and two special teams snaps.

Miami Dolphins (Dolphins 34, Cardinals 31)
Adam Pankey – OT – 4th season – Not active

New England Patriots (Patriots 30, Jets 27)
Yodny Cajuste – OT – 2nd season – Placed on injured reserve.

New York Jets (Patriots 27, Jets 27)
Trevon Wesco – TE – 2nd season – Placed on injured reserve.

San Francisco 49ers (Packers 34, 49ers 17)
Colton McKivitz – OT – 1st season – Saw action on 21 offensive plays, while also recording playing time on three special teams snaps

Seattle Seahawks (Bills 44, Seahawks 34)
Bruce Irvin  –  LB – 9th season – Tore his ACL in Week 2 against the Patriots and was placed on the injured reserve list.

Geno Smith – QB – 8th season – Active, but did not play.

Tennessee Titans (Titans 24, Bears 17)
David Long Jr. – LB – 2nd season – Recorded one tackle and saw action on 24 special teams plays.
