Mountaineers in the NFL: Week 8 Review

This week 10 former West Virginia University football standouts saw action in NFL games:

 

Carolina Panthers (Falcons 25, Panthers 17)
Rasul Douglas – CB – 4th season – Placed on COVID-19 reserve list.

Will Grier – QB – 2nd season – Not active

Kenny Robinson- S – 1st -Season- Saw action on 11 special teams snaps.

Cincinnati Bengals (Bengals 21,Titans 20)
Quinton Spain – OG – 6th season –Was picked up by the Bengals last week after being released by the Buffalo Bills the week prior and saw action on 62 snaps at guard.

Cleveland Browns (Raiders 16, Browns 6)
Karl Joseph – S – 5th season – Recorded three solo tackles. Saw action on six defensive plays and nine special teams snaps.

Dallas Cowboys (Eagles 23, Cowboys 9)
Daryl Worley – CB – 5th season – Released by the Cowboys.

Indianapolis Colts (Colts 41, Lions 21)
Mark Glowinski – OG – 6th season- Started at right guard. He saw action on all 77 offensive plays, while also recording playing time on five special teams snaps.

Las Vegas Raiders (Raiders 16, Browns 6)
Nick Kwiatkoski – LB – 5th season – Started at middle linebacker and recorded five tackles with four being solo stops. He saw action on 48 defensive plays and four special teams snaps.

Los Angeles Chargers (Broncos 31, Chargers 30)
Kyzir White – LB – 3rd season – Started at linebacker and recorded five tackles with three being solo stops. He saw action on 37 defensive plays and one special teams snap.

Miami Dolphins (Dolphins 28, Rams 17)
Adam Pankey – OT – 4th season –Saw action on two offensive plays.

New England Patriots (Bills 24, Patriots 21)
Yodny Cajuste – OT – 2nd season – Placed on injured reserve.

New York Jets (Chiefs 35, Jets 9)
Trevon Wesco – TE – 2nd season – Saw action on nine offensive plays, while also recording playing time on six special teams snaps.

San Francisco 49ers (Seahawks 37, 49ers 27)
Colton McKivitz — OT – 1st season – Saw action on three special teams snaps.

Seattle Seahawks (Seahawks 37, 49ers 27)
Bruce Irvin – LB – 9th season – He tore his ACL in week 2 against the Patriots and was placed on the injured reserve list by the Seahawks.

Geno Smith – QB – 8th season – Active, but did not play.

Tennessee Titans (Bengals 31, Titans 20)
David Long Jr. – LB – 2nd season –  Saw action on 14 special teams plays.
