NFL Draft Profile for Zach Frazier: Intelligence, Power Make West Virginia Product Bust Proof

WVU Football Zach Frazier

Zach Frazier is a lock to be drafted. In fact, he’s a lock to be drafted inside one of the first two rounds of the draft. And with the 2024 NFL Draft days finally here, Frazier is on the verge of realizing his dream.

NFL analysts have called Frazier “bust proof” when projecting how the West Virginia native will translate to the next level, but the success of no player is ever a sure thing and a lot it can depend on where he ends up.

Zach Frazier’s College Bio

Frazier appeared in 47 games for the Mountaineers over a four-year span. Frazierโ€™s career at West Virginia came to an end when he suffered a leg injury during the Baylor game on Nov. 25. He managed to get himself off of the field, avoiding a loss of time on the clock late in the game and impressing NFL scouts in the process. The Fairmont, W.Va. native capped off his Mountaineer career as an All-American and finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy.

WVU head coach Neal Brown showered Frazier with praise once it was clear his college career was over, highlighting how much his final play shows his intelligence as a player.

โ€œI canโ€™t say enough about Zach Frazier. So appreciative of him and his family. I think one play sums up who he is for his entire career, and I just hope our fanbase, a young man from Fairmont, I think heโ€™s the best center in college football,โ€ said Brown.

Teams to Watch

Besides the Pittsburgh Steelers, who love Frazier and have been connected with him for months, look for the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers or Chicago Bears to be in play within the first 40 picks.
