All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.

Nick Taylor transferred to the WVU football program after spending his true freshman season with another set of Mountaineers at Appalachian State. Now a 6-foot-1, 193 pound cornerback, Taylor appeared in 11 games in 2025. He recorded 20 total tackle and picked off one pass in his debut season with West Virginia.

Prior to his transfer, Taylor made 10 tackles and a pass breakup in 2024. The mountaineers are now planning to utilize Taylor in an even bigger role in 2026.

A two-time all-region performer in Georgia, always a recruiting hotbed, Taylor joins a secondary that was among the worst in the nation last season. As such, heโ€™ll have plenty of opportunities to earn playing time in an unproven and retooled position groupโ€ฆ and added familiarity with the Mountaineers system, as he played under new cornerbacks coach Rod West at Appalachian State.
