Is It Time for DL Wilnerson Telemaque to Play? | WVU Football All 105

All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.

Wilnerson Telemaque committed to WVU Football on National Signing Day in 2024 despite the Mountaineers being in the middle of a regime change. He did play in one game, the 2025 season opener against FCS Robert Morris, and then sat down and ended up taking his true freshman year as a redshirt season.

A 6-foot-6, 265 pound defensive end, Telemaque was a three-star recruit in high school and has a natural frame for the position, possessing the length and speed to beat opposing tackles on his way to the quarterback. As he continues to build strength and hone his technique, Telemaque could turn into a legitimate nightmare of an edge rusher.

The freshmen generally struggle to see major playing time, but don’t rule Telemaque out entirely from making an impact now in his second year in Zac Alley’s system.
