RB Leddie Brown Signs LOI

Published

on

Running back Leddie Brown (6’0” 210-lbs) from Smyrna, Deleware committed to the Mountaineers in April of this year and has officially signed with West Virginia.  He will enroll into West Virginia in June.

Brown is everything you are looking for in a running back, and what sticks out is his speed and power.  His athleticism is off the charts.  He can runover a player, then has the speed to take it to the house.  Has tremendous footwork, giving him the ability to make defenders miss.  He can juke, side step and stiff arm his way into the end zone.

Leddie would have an immediate impact on the depth chart.  As talented as he is, it would be hard to keep him on the sideline.

Brown had offers from Alabama, Florida, Tennessee Maryland and Louisville.

Great job by the coaching staff landing one of the best running backs in the country.  They have been recruiting him since he was in the 8th grade and made West Virginia feel like home to the young prospect.
