Seahawks QB Geno Smith Posts Single-Game Highs in Loss to Lions
Despite a valiant comeback attempt, Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks lost for the first time this season on Monday night. Smith threw for a career single-game high 395 yards during Seattle’s 42-29 loss to the Detroit Lions.
After trailing 21-7 at half time, Smith kept the Seahawks in the game in the second half as part of what became an entertaining Monday Night Football game.
In addition to the yardage, Smith competed 38-of-56 passes with a touchdown pass and extra 27 yards on the ground. The WVU product has now thrown for 1,182 yards through the air on the season.

The Seahawks are now 3-1 on the season, still good enough to remain at the top of the NFC West standings. Smith will now take his team back home for a matchup with the New York Giants on Sunday.
