Sills named semifinalist for Biletnikoff Award

Published

on

First reported by Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports, West Virginia wide receiver David Sills V was named as a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, which is given to the nations top receiver. Through 10 games, Sills V has hauled in 55 receptions for 856 yards and 18 touchdowns. His 18 touchdowns are 7 more than anyone in the country.

There is no question that the once 6th-grade quarterback phenom has exploded onto the scene at receiver and has put himself in a great position to win the award. Since Dana Holgorsen has been at West Virginia, he has had multiple receivers named as semifinalists and finalists such as Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, and Kevin White. White was a finalist for the award in 2014.
