West Virginia Gives an Offer to Josh Henderson

West Virginia University is back in the Garden State, New Jersey, to offer 6`0″ 200-lbs running back Josh Henderson of The Hun School. He`s very excited to have the opportunity to attend WVU.

Josh is very familiar with WVU, saying “Its a great school and great players come from there every year. It’s very cool to get this offer. My family and I are very proud!”

He currently does not have plans to visit yet, but likes the direction the program is going. “The program is coming up! They had a solid year last year and they get better year after year.”

Henderson does not have a top list of schools yet, but he should have a good idea soon. His decision date isn’t set in stone, but plans to before his season starts.

Josh has several favorite running backs, Arian Foster, LeSean McCoy and Le’ veon Bell. He fits those molds to each of those players uniquely. Elusive in the run game and open field, has soft hands to  make the catch on the run and can throw a block. He’s good at drawing defenders’ attention. He runs with his head down and has good strength. His vision is great and can fly thru the hole and into the end zone in no time.

When he hears WVU, Tavon Austin and Geno Smith come to mind.

His goals for this upcoming season are to exceed everybody’s expectations and be even better than last year. The possibility on playing in the Big XII for him is, “It’s a great conference! With some great competition!”

What matters the most to him in choosing a school is finding a place where he can reach his full potential and really become a better person on and off the field.
