The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning West Virginia Football and Basketball. 

UPDATE (5:19 PM)-

West Virginia football extends an offer to 2023 DB Cedric Byrd. Byrd, a 3-star prospect from Gadsden County High, in Florida, that also has played the running back position.

UPDATE (3:20 PM)-

The Big 12 Conference announced that the 2022 wrestling championship will take place in Tulsa, OK, in March. Tickets for the event are available here.

UPDATE (3:12 PM)-

2023 DL/OL Gensley Auguste received an offer from West Virginia. The 6-foot-6, 255-pound lineman from West Orange, NJ, that has received offers from UConn, Marshall, Maryland, Syracuse and West Virginia.

UPDATE (12:27 PM)-

On Thursday night, West Virginia football extended an offer to 2025 DL Jordin Farrow. Farrow is from River Rouge, MI, receiving offers from Central Michigan, Toledo and West Virginia. The offer from WVU is Farrow’s first Power-5 offer.

UPDATE (12:20 PM)-

On Friday afternoon, 2023 DB/WR Tray Tolliver was offered by West Virignia. Tolliver is a 3-star prospect from Lake City, FL. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound athlete has received offers notably from Arizona, Cincinnati, Louisville, Missouri, South Carolina, UCF and West Virginia.
