As reported this morning, WVU’s game at Baylor scheduled for Thursday has now officially been canceled. Per the Big 12’s release, the game was canceled to prevent any team from having to play three games in three consecutive weeks. That means the Mountaineers will be able to return to Morgantown following the conclusion of their game against TCU Tuesday night, instead of staying in Texas for two more days.
WVU’s rescheduled home games are against Baylor on March 2, TCU on March 4 and Oklahoma State on March 6, all games that had previously been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. The Baylor game will start at 5 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN or ESPN2, TCU’s start time is to be determined and will be on ESPN+ and Oklahoma State’s start time is also to be determined and will be on ESPN or ESPN2.
