WVU Baseball Adds to Pitching Staff by Signing Chansen Cole

The WVU baseball program bolstering its pitching staff for next season with the signing of right hander Chansen Cole.

Cole will move up from Division II after starting his college career at Newberry College this past season. He announced his commitment by posting a graphic on social media on June 5.

A South Carolina native, Cole recorded 97 strikeouts and just 21 walks  in about 90 innings pitched.

For his highlight performances, Cole had a 15-strikeout game in a six-inning outing in February. He only allowed seven home runs all season.
