WVU Basketball in Play for St. John’s Transfer Guard

WVU basketball has shown interest in St. John’s transfer guard Joson Sanon, per Sam Keyser in a post to X Wednesday.

Sanon, a 6-foot-5 guard, appeared in 32 games while starting 11 as a sophomore last season for SJU, averaging 7.2 points and 2.1 rebounds on 20.5. minutes per game. He is no stranger to the Big 12, as he played his freshman season at Arizona State in 2024-25, averaging 11.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Sanon has also heard from Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, Oregon, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, NC State, Texas A&M, UCLA, Mississippi State, Georgetown, Texas Tech and Texas.
