WVU Football Falls in ESPN FPI During Week Off
In the midst of an up and down season so far, WVU football dropped in the latest ESPN FPI (Football Power Index) despite the week off.
West Virginia enters the new week ranked at No. 64, falling three spots from where they were at this same point seven days earlier.
And while the Mountaineers should be rested and are coming off a big 24-20 win on the road at TCU, Rich Rodriguez’s team has their toughest challenge yet coming up. WVU will travel to Lubbock, Texas to face the (7-1, 4-1 Big 12) Texas Tech Raiders, who picked up a 34-26 win over Arizona.
West Virginia and Texas Tech will kickoff at 9:30 pm ET and the game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
