The WVU women’s basketball team will appear on national networks eight times, including two at home, two on neutral sites, and four on the road, the Big 12 Conference announced Tuesday.
The eight regular-season national TV games are the most in program history.
The Mountaineers kick off their national TV games when they compete against Northwestern on CBS Sports Network during the Greenbrier Tipoff. The contest is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 4, at 5:30 p.m. ET in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia at The Greenbrier.
West Virginia will make one more appearance on the national stage in the non-conference when they take on Notre Dame on ESPN2 during the Battle 4 Atlantis. The contest will tip off at 11:30 a.m. ET on Thanksgiving Day.
The Mountaineers will then play six of their conference contests on national TV networks. Four of the contests will be aired on the ESPN family of networks while the other two will be on CBS Sports Network and Fox.
WVU will be featured on ESPN2 against Oklahoma State on Sunday, Jan. 3, at 8 p.m. ET and then on ESPN on Sunday, Jan. 10, when they take on TCU at 3 p.m. ET. The Wednesday, Jan. 13 matchup against Kansas State will be on CBS Sports Network at 5 p.m. ET, followed by a Sunday, Jan. 17 game against Baylor on ESPN at 5 p.m. ET. West Virginia and Arizona State will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 10 p.m. ET on ESPNU before the final national TV game of the season against TCU on Monday, Feb. 15 in a game that will air on FOX at 3 p.m. ET.
All of West Virginiaโs remaining home nonconference and all Big 12 games will be broadcast on ESPN+. Weekday games will all tip off at 7 p.m. ET while weekend contests will begin at 2 p.m. ET. The Mountaineers game against Georgia Tech will air on ACC Network, as the road trip against Villanova will be on ESPN+.
Throughout the 2026-27 season, 144 Monster Energy Big 12 Womenโs Basketball league games will be televised across ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN+), FOX Sports platforms (FOX, FS1) and CBS Sports Network, delivering unprecedented coverage of one of the nationโs premier conferences.
The Big 12 had eight teams selected to the 2026 NCAA Womenโs Basketball Championship, matching the league record set in 2008. It marked the third consecutive season that the league has sent at least seven teams to March Madness. The Conference finished the regular season as one of just two leagues nationally to have 75% of its teams ranked within the top 60 of the NET and had the second-best regular season record among Power Four leagues in games against other P4 teams.
